I’m really impressed with NBC’s new Kings; terrible ratings from its premiere probably mean that it’s in danger of being canceled, but one can hope that it rebounds and is able to hold a weekly audience. I will say this: it beats the hell out of Heroes in writing, acting, and concept. Also, Ian McShane’s character uses the Royal “we” when he’s angry, which is unbelievably badass.
