I had the good fortune of being present at Yankee Stadium yesterday for (a) the Yankees’ 100th win, (b) a Mariano Rivera save, (c) the completion of a sweep of the Red Sox, and (d) the Yankees’ clinching the AL East and the best record in baseball on the same day.
Yankee tickets are expensive, but, at least in yesterday’s case, the bang far outweighs the buck. Simply a wonderful, wonderful experience in the Bronx.
